Our cabin can be assembled on patio stones that are placed under floor joists. Make sure you have a level surface before you start assembling your cabin. Other methods such as cement slab, super spikes or cinder blocks can be used.

3. Do I need a permit to build my cabin?

Permit requirements may vary from county to county. Please make sure to contact your local building department for more information.

8. What do the kits include and what are the cabins made of?

These cabins are made of solid 2" tongue and groove Siberian Spruce logs and not panels. Thick logs and reinforced roof structures allow these cabins to withstand the harshest weather conditions.  Included in each kit are the following: wall and roof components, glassed doors & windows, all hardware plus extras, floor panels and trim parts.

8. How do I treat and care for my log cabin?

Log cabins are made out of wood, therefore, they need to be treated just like any other wood product. Visit your local home maintenance store and speak to one of the representatives about the best wood protection. It is very important to apply wood sealant of your choice as soon as you erect your log cabin. By doing so you will prevent discoloration caused by sun and possible water damage. Please maintain your cabin properly and it will serve for many years to come.

9. What if I change my mind?
